Berlin Marathon Training Week 5!

Happy Monday Guys! Hope everyone had a great 4th of July weekend, and got some nice running in too! I just wanted to express how incredibly special this marathon training is to me, because this will be my first marathon ever, and it’s even more special because I get to share my experience with all of you!! I am filled daily with gratitude; completing each and every run, and learning from each and every run. I read yesterday that, “You can’t force fitness. Developing it is a patient process. Know where you want to go, but accept where you’re at. [...]

Marathon Training Week 3 – THE LONG RUN!

Happy Tuesday All! I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend and got some kick a** running in! I was spending some quality time with my family on Long Island, and now I am enjoying some R & R in Martha’s Vineyard!! I’m not going to lie last weeks training was not optimal and I had a bit of pain, however I’m not stressing it. When the going gets tough you either keep going, or you take a small break, so that you CAN keep going! Also, don’t take life so seriously; hence the photo [...]

Berlin Marathon Training Week 1!

Hey Guys! I’ve decided to blog about my training for the Berlin Marathon, and I hope that you’ll enjoy this journey with me! I’ll post my workouts weekly and everything that I felt was good/bad about them. Please keep in mind that I have done a fair amount of base training to get me to where I am in today. I do not suggest anyone who wants to run a marathon start with my program. If you want to run a race of any kind, I would suggest getting a running coach and having them assess you first. ;-) Without [...]
