Oh how I love this little seed!! My favorite way to use them is by making deliciousss puddings! They satiate my sweet tooth and I get oodles of fiber too! Here is my go to recipe:
Cacao & Peanut Butter Chia Pudding
Ingredients:
- 1 banana
- 1 T Cacao Powder
- 2 T Powdered Peanut Butter
- 1 Cup Coconut Milk
- 3 T Chia Seeds
- Some unsweetened coconut to top
(Recovery Version – to get a little extra added benefit)
- Add 1 tsp Maca Powder
- Add 1 scoop of Whey Protein Powder (Whey is the fastest acting protein – and will get to those muscles quickly to facilitate repair! Booya!)
Directions:
- Blend everything but the chia seeds. Add them at the end, and I like to refrigerate over night. If the consistency isn’t like pudding, add more cha cha cha CHIA!!!
