Don’t throw away your pulp after juicing! You can either compost it and use it for your garden, or make yummy food out of it! I used this juice and another yummy green juice recipe that I will let you know about soon enough! Check out the deliciousness!
Viva Verde!
*Makes about 3-4 servings
- remnants of this juice
- 1 lemon
- 6 small stalks of kale
- 1 cucumber
- 1/2 bundle of parsley
- 2 in ginger
- 2 bundles of spinach
- 2 apples
- 1 meyer lemon
Today love with no condition.
Now onto some PULP BURGERS!!!
Ingredients
- Pulp from Viva Verde juice and this juice.
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 C Olive Oil
- 1 small onion
- 2 T Simply Organic’s garlic & herb spice
- Shake of garlic salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 can of chickpeas
- 1/2 can of kidney beans
- 1 C Oat flour
- Sautéed onions
- Avocado
- Sriracha
Directions
- Add eggs to pulp and blend together
- Add olive oil
- Add chopped onion
- Add all spices. (Garlic & herb, black pepper, & garlic salt)
- Add chickpeas & kidney beans
- Add oat flour
- Mold pulp burgers to the size of your liking!!
- On low heat in pan, add olive oil and pan fry.
- Top with sautéed onions, avocado, and sriracha. (Or whatever you fancy!)
*They were really good, only thing that I may omit is the citrus pulp. It tends to make the burgers a bit more bitter.
